After quite a bit of research, I’ve determined that the various WP theme and template tutorials are inadequate. I am currently going through a generic template and hacking it apart in an attempt to create something I like. We’ll see if I make it anywhere, or if I just decide to return to a stock theme. Chances are, I’ll make it halfway toward something decent and then decide, not only am I too lazy to finish, but I am too lazy to just download a template.
