Faster Windows XP start menu

While playing around with nlite, I discovered one of the nice little tweaks is to speed up the start menu. I checked it, but didn’t really think about it until I used the start menu again after a fresh install. Wow! That little bit of speed makes a nice difference! So, I looked around and found out that you can easily do the same just by changing the registry. Do runregedit - go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\control panel\desktop and find the MenuShowDelay. Try changing the value to “40″ (the milliseconds of delay) and play with it from there.
