One of the many reasons that I use Firefox is because of all the extensions. One that I absolutely love is the HTML Validator. While you are browsing, it lets you know if there are problems with the current page. I always leave the icon and text on so that the status bar will say X Errors / X Warnings for every page that I visit. Unfortunately, they don’t have an OSX (G4) version. Since I commonly use OSX at work, I was really disappointed that this extension is not available for this platform. Luckily, there is a Safari Tidy plugin, which does basically the same thing. Just don’t be surprised when you see many popular websites with hundreds of warnings…
