I've worn acuvue 2 color lenses for years. I've tried both opaque and enhancer. I have naturally dark brown eyes. I've always worn the blue (deep blue - O) lenses, and the way they stack the colors come to be a very intense and true hue when worn compared to other brands I've tried. In natural light or artificial light the opaque lenses are often very pure and intense. Even though I'm of east Asian ethnicity I've often had a lot of people ask if it was my natural eye color when I wore the blue lenses. In flash photos they also show up very natural.

I've also tried the enhancer lenses because i felt if it does actually show on my eye color then it would bring out a even more natural look. My eyes are dark but not black brown, when the light hits it from the side the details of the iris are very bright and visible, so I wanted to maintain that naturalness with a bit of color. Not recommended, the enhancers DID NOT show up at all. It has pretty much the exact same result as clear lenses on my color. I suppose they would only work well on very light eyes, or maybe only eye colors in blue, green, or gray. I've seen some friends wear enhancers on light eyes, and they came out very intense and natural.

Turquoise is one of my favorite color. But choosing a color you want in contact lenses depends on your personality and how it perfectly fit you. But above all, I still recommend every clients fit the lens with the help of a professionals. Always consult optometrist or ophthalmologist when choosing to buy what is appropriate for your eyes.

I am considering of replacing my kids eyeglasses into contact lenses... These past few days I have noticed that she become so conscious on how she looks and for sure she feels bad wearing eyeglasses especially so that some kids are bullying her. Please convince me that contact lenses is also safe for kids.

I can understand why the lense providers market their colored products toward the females. I can't imagine even wanting to change my appearance in that manner. Alan

I have the same problem with OASYS. They're great for the first few days, then start to degrade or something.

I don't have the problem with acuvue colours, though they're dryer than the OASIS. I think i'll just go with the colours and use lubricating drops.

Sara
You are not the doctor. THIS IS A DOCTOR DECISION.
Your doctor will PRESCRIBE the proper fit. Without the proper fit you risk eye infections. GO TO YOUR DOCTOR!!!!! THERE IS NOT 'ONE SIZE FITS ALL'
