State Of The Blog

Looking through the past few posts, it’s pretty clear that my blog has taken a heavy art focus at this time. I have also queued posts for noon (Pacific) through Tuesday, each day looking at a different page in my sketch book. I do not intend to make this blog art-only, but I thought this would be a good exercise for me (reflecting upon my art and creating a sort of time capsule that I can look back through in the future) and would also give me the chance to actually have regular updates on the blog for a while.

I hope to have some time this weekend to do a post about how the internship is progressing (in short: it’s exhausting, fun, and exhausting). Of course, I also have my countless hobbies and plenty of tasks that need to be done, so we’ll see how the weekend goes. This past weekend was not as restful as I had expected, so perhaps this one will be more relaxed.

    Ian,

Most blogs I follow tend to focus on one path and then the other as time moves along.

Jason Driskill generally surprises everyone because his posts seem quite random: a new painting, a dinner party, a photograph of his dog, ….

Well, actually I keep asking him for photographs of Percy, his dog!
