I’ve decided that I’m going to create a blog at a subdomain of my online portfolio site, and that is where I will do my more technically-focused posting (e.g., stuff about Linux, web development, etc.). The blog here has a very broad focus, and I think the audience for the technical articles is generally different from the audience for the rest. This will also help me better separate professional and personal postings.
That being said, I don’t expect to make the transition right away because I want to do a bit of research about different blogging platforms. I may end up using WordPress, but I need to better explore proper caching because I’ve had some challenges with getting caching and Nginx to fully cooperate. I’ll do another post here with a link once I’ve started the other blog with the address and details.
